New EP from the Paris-based DJ crew and label, MWB 001 Remixes features remixes by Traumer, Lurka, Tim Karbon and Mawimbi. It will be available digitally on the 15th of January and a release party will take place in Paris at Gaite Lyrique on the 29th of January. These remixes offer unusual and somewhat darker reinterpretations of tracks from the first compilation that appeared on the label, displaying a strong taste for a modern, versatile techno sound.
Mawimbi signifie ondes en swahili. Véritable propagation d'un métissage, manifestation physique d'une rencontre avec l'Autre. Mawimbi est une cérémonie rituelle et mouvante.
